KOMET-Medizintechnik-Fachschaftsräte versammelten sich bei STIMULATE
Von 15 Universitäten und Hochschulen aus dem gesamten deutschsprachigen Raum waren 60 Studierende der Medizintechnik-Fachschaftsräte anwesend, um sich auszutauschen, voneinander zu lernen, Beziehungen und Freundschaften aufzubauen und den Unternehmens- und Forschungsstandort Magdeburg kennenzulernen.
Das Programm begann mit der Vorstellung des englischsprachigen Masterstudiengangs Medical System Engineering der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg am Forschungscampus STIMULATE. Weitere Studierende konnten sich über eine Streaming-Plattform die Informationen abholen. Darauf folgte eine beeindruckende Exkursion durch den Forschungscampus STIMULATE, der die moderne und vielfältige Forschung in der Medizintechnik in Magdeburg den Studierenden näherbrachte. Hierfür und für ein Sponsoring, das auch vom Studierendenrat der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität, von der Fakultät für Elektro- und Informationstechnik, dem EMBS und der IEEE stammte, sprachen die KOMET-Beteiligten ihren Dank aus. Gekrönt wurde das Wochenende von einem Campus-Pitch, bei dem die Investitions- und Marketinggesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH das Land Sachsen-Anhalt als Investitions- und Zukunftsraum für die Wissenschaft vorgestellte. Darüber hinaus stellten sich auf diesem Event auch faszinierende Partnerunternehmen des Forschungscampus STIMULATE vor, darunter Neoscan Solutions, mediMESH und RAYDIAX. Auch das OCRA Tabletop stellte sich als angehendes Start-up den Studierenden vor. Zusätzlich war das Unternehmen Gerresheimer vertreten und begeisterte das Publikum mit seiner Präsentation.
Die KOMET-Fachschaftsräte betonten die hohe Produktivität des Jahrestreffens mit tollen Ergebnissen, neuen Kontakten, neuen medizintechnischen Eindrücken sowie die Knüpfung zukunftsträchtiger Zusammenarbeiten! KOMET freut sich auf das zehnjährige Jubiläum im nächsten Jahr, denn dann heißt es: KOMET 2024, willkommen in Graz!
Advanced research for the treatment of liver cancer
From 15 universities and colleges from all over the German-speaking world, 60 students from the medical technology student councils were present to exchange ideas, learn from each other, build relationships and friendships and get to know Magdeburg as a business and research location.
The program began with a presentation of the English-language Master's degree program in Medical Systems Engineering at Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg's at the Research Campus STIMULATE. Other students were able to pick up information via a streaming platform. This was followed by an impressive excursion through the Research Campus STIMULATE, which gave the students an understanding of the modern and diverse research in medical technology in Magdeburg. The KOMET participants expressed their thanks for this and for the sponsorship, which also came from the student council of Otto-von-Guericke-University, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, the EMBS and the IEEE. The weekend was crowned by a campus pitch, in which the Investitions- und Marketinggesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH presented the state of Saxony-Anhalt as an investment and future-oriented region for science. Fascinating partner companies of the Research Campus STIMULATE also presented themselves at this event, including Neoscan Solutions, mediMESH and RAYDIAX. The OCRA Tabletop also introduced itself to the students as a budding start-up. Gerresheimer was also represented and impressed the audience with its presentation.
The KOMET student representatives emphasized the high productivity of the annual meeting with great results, new contacts, new impressions of medical technology and the establishment of promising collaborations! KOMET is looking forward to its tenth anniversary next year, when the motto will be: KOMET 2024, welcome to Graz!
