Neugestaltung des Eltern-Kind-Zimmers am Forschungscampus STIMULATE
Das Eltern-Kind-Zimmer am Forschungscampus STIMULATE ist nach einem Umzug innerhalb des Gebäudes, einer Neuausstattung und liebevoller Einrichtung wiedereröffnet worden. Dank der finanziellen Unterstützung durch den Forschungscampus STIMULATE, dem Engagement von Prof. Dr. Georg Rose (Fakultät für Elektro- und Informationstechnik), Prof. Dr. Christian Hansen (Fakultät für Informatik) und den Mitarbeitenden des Forschungscampus STIMULATE konnte die Übergabe im April 2024 erfolgen.
Mit einem Eltern-Kind-Zimmer besteht ein Angebot für Studierende und Mitarbeitende, im Betreuungsnotfall ihre Kinder zu beaufsichtigen und gleichzeitig ihrem Studium / ihrer Arbeit nachzugehen. Außerdem bieten diese Zimmer einen ruhigen Rückzugsort für Schwangere und stillende Mütter.
In einem großen, lichtdurchfluteten Raum stehen jetzt neben 2 neuen Schreibtischen mit PC oder Laptop, Schreibtischstühlen oder Gymnastikbällen, ein Kinderstuhl und ein Hochstuhl zur Auswahl. Außerdem gibt es eine Wickelkommode, einen Laufstall und eine Spielecke. Eine gemütliche Nische im Raum bietet eine Sitzecke mit Couch, die durch eine spanische Wand abtrennbar ist. Ein Regal voller Bücher, Spielzeug und Gesellschaftsspiele runden das Angebot ab.
Das neue Eltern-Kind-Zimmer befindet sich im Speicher B, Gebäude 82, Raum 135. Bei Bedarf ist der Schlüssel im Sekretariat (Raum 171) oder bei den Mitarbeitenden in Zimmer 172 zu erhalten. Telefonisch ist das Eltern-Kind-Zimmer durch 0391-67-57330 erreichbar.

Redesign of the parent-child room at the STIMULATE research campus
The parent-child room at the STIMULATE research campus has been reopened after being relocated within the building, refurbished and lovingly furnished. Thanks to the financial support of the STIMULATE research campus, the commitment of Prof. Dr. Georg Rose (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology), Prof. Dr. Christian Hansen (Faculty of Computer Science) and the employees of the STIMULATE research campus, the handover took place in April 2024.
A parent-child room offers students and employees the opportunity to supervise their children in the event of a childcare emergency while pursuing their studies/work. These rooms also offer a quiet retreat for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
In a large, light-flooded room, there are now 2 new desks with PC or laptop, desk chairs or exercise balls, a high chair and a high chair to choose from. There is also a changing unit, a playpen and a play corner. A cozy alcove in the room offers a seating area with a couch, which can be separated by a Spanish wall. A shelf full of books, toys and board games complete the offer.
The new parent-child room is located in Warehouse B, Building 82, Room 135. If required, the key can be obtained from the secretary's office (Room 171) or from the staff in Room 172. The parent-child room can be reached by telephone on 0391-67-57330.
